Irish pubs have a certain persona. From the delicious home-cooked food to the Guinness, you can count on your local Irish pub to provide a casual meal and a welcoming atmosphere. The Playwright is a new Irish pub in Dallas, but don't let the newness scare you away. They're already gaining a following, and for good reason.
The Playwright's Menu
The dinner menu at The Playwright is chock-full of Irish classics. Try the Galway Bay Mussels, which are served with savory garlic crostini. O'Casey's Shepherd's Pie is a great choice if you love lamb and potatoes, and the Bangers & Mash will make you think you sailed across the Atlantic! They also offer chicken wings — with unique sauces like Guinness Barbecue and Lemon Pepper — and juicy burgers served with fries or a side salad.
The Playwright is not shy about their beer selection. With 50 beers on tap, there's something for everyone. They also offer a great selection of Jameson Irish Whiskey, Baileys, and more. On the weekends, they serve brunch until 3 pm.
