Studio Arts Dallas 

At Studio Arts Dallas, the belief is that you are never too old to learn classical art techniques. The school is found inside a 1968 A-frame house that once served hamburgers. Jessica Stewart Lendvay redesigned the building to meet the instructors' needs, and in 2006, her work was called the "Best Burger Joint Renovation" by D Magazine.

The adult classes welcome both beginning and advanced students. One of the choices includes Wheel and Hand-build Clay. It's held once a week, and Andrea Wichman will help you create a unique work using simple exercises. 

Pigment School of the Arts 

The Pigment School of the Arts is where creative energy is in the air. Instructor Tori Webb studied at the Chicago Institute of Art and teaches drawing, painting, and ceramics. Students enjoyed detailed instruction and begin by learning how to observe the world around them. 

Adult Artistry is held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00. From exquisite to whimsical, participants create an array of works using unconventional media. 

Creative Arts Center of Dallas 

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas allows people to discover, develop, and express their artistic vision. Students receive high-quality instruction as most of the teachers hold a Bachelor or Master of Fine Arts degree, and have exhibited nationally. The school sits on a two-acre campus, and classes range from ceramics to jewelry making. 

Try Mixed Media Mosaic. This unique class integrates paper collage elements into the concept of mosaic. Students are encouraged to keep an open mind, and they create using metal washers and other tools.
