Dallas is a cultural hub filled with much to explore and endless things to do. If you’re in the mood for a day of discovery and learning, then your destination should be the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
The museum boasts 11 permanent exhibit halls along with rotating displays, hands-on activities, films, and live science demonstrations. Interested? Here’s what you can look forward to:
Lamar Hunt Family Sports Hall
Discover the science of sports at this one-of-a-kind exhibit. This 55-foot interactive display features technology to help participants understand the body in motion. Visitors can test their reaction time, time themselves against a pro, and walk away with photos of themselves in action.
Being Human Hall
Study your own anatomy in this interactive and revolutionary hall. Instead of hearing how the human body works, visitors can see for themselves through hands-on activities. View the intricate network of blood vessels beneath the skin with a special light, or find the hot and cold points of your body with a thermal camera. You’ll be surprised by what you find!
Discovering Life Hall
See genetics in action at this unique exhibit hall. This 3,400 square foot display features fossils, taxidermy specimens, and interactive games that will open your eyes to the cycles of life.
